The Minds Behind M/O/M

Addison Gill jump-started her career in fashion at age fifteen as winner of the ‘V Magazine Model Search.’ Shortly after, she walked her very first runway show as an exclusive for Calvin Klein in NYC, followed by Valentino and Louis Vuitton in Paris. Addison has seven years of experience as an international fashion model, appearing in the pages of Teen Vogue and Fashion, and on the covers of Italian VogueFrench Elle, and Flare. She has traveled between New York, London, Paris, and Tokyo for fashion weeks, editorials, and campaigns— all while balancing school, family and friendships! Addison received the inaugural P&G Beauty Award for ‘Best New Face’ and has been featured in Hello! Canada as one of the ‘50 Most Beautiful Canadians.’ Addison is currently based in Toronto with Sutherland Models.

As a runway instructor and mentor at Sutherland Academy, Addison promotes positive body image and self-esteem for teen girls. Course curriculum includes runway walking, posing and body awareness- all taught as transferable skills to help students develop confidence and present the best version of themselves.

Madison Schill is an internationally known presence in the world of fashion. She began her career as a model at age fifteen, and soon rose to fame in the Canadian market. After graduating high school with top honours and scholarship as Canada’s Top 20 Under 20, Madison took up residence in New York City, where she worked and travelled internationally for two years as a Ford Model. Globally represented by the Ford brand, Madison quickly found success in what she considers to be her “heart home”, Paris. She worked exclusively for Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz, and she booked a campaign for Christian LaCroix on her first day in the city. Her first international fashion week landed her on the runways of forty-three shows, including Marchesa, Monique L’Huillier, and Oscar de la Renta.

Not only has Madison earned an initial respect from clients, but almost all continued to work with her consistently throughout her career. Her ability to observe and understand the business of fashion has resulted in close relationships with heavy hitters in the industry, such as Gilt Group, Condé Nast, Nordstrom, and LVMH.

Madison decided to stop modeling at a critical point in her career; one where her success was at it’s peak. “It wasn’t a difficult decision for me,” she says, “Since I was eleven, I’ve wanted to be an intellectual voice in fashion. Now is just the time to speak.”

Madison recently evolved past an incredible few years producing and writing content for FashionationTV, an online style channel meant to embody the Netflix-meets-FashionTV absence that existed in the industry. Now managing her time with the growing success of Mind Over Model and a Metaphysics, French and Italian degree, Schill is proud to reveal her position as a fashion writer at ELLE Canada magazine.
